It's a great size at 18" x 12" overall and it features a routed perimeter to hold juices and a recessed well that serves as a juice reservoir. Made from heavy rubberwood this is a cutting board that will last.
Note: Rubberwood is a light-colored medium-density tropical hardwood obtained from the Pará rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), usually from trees grown in rubber plantations. Rubberwood is commonly advertised as an "environmentally friendly" wood, as it makes use of plantation trees that have already served a useful function.
- Measures a generous 12"W x 18"L and .75" thick
- Includes juice well and grip handles for no drip carving
- Rinse cutting board with a warm soapy cloth
- Preserve with mineral oil; do not wash in the dishwasher
- Natural wood knots and other variations in the wood may appear through the engraved design. These are not considered imperfections
- Oil after every use. If only used for display you still must oil at least once a month
- Because wood is a natural product, color and grain will vary on each cutting board.
